Who we are

The South Seattle College Foundation provides funds for scholarships, faculty grants, educational programs and infrastructure improvements for South Seattle College.

Our mission

  • To change lives by providing students at South Seattle College with scholarships so they can pursue quality academic and vocational education.

  • To support South Seattle College with funds for programs, faculty grants, and infrastructure.

We do this through relationship building, fundraising, and stewarding resources.

The South Seattle College Foundation is a separate 501(c)3 tax exempt organization established in 1978 to provide funding for SSC student and college needs not otherwise met by state funding and tuition fees. A volunteer Board of Directors governs the Foundation.

What we do

    One-time emergency grants help students overcome unexpected financial barriers and stay enrolled.

    Flexible funding for urgent needs, strategic priorities, and emerging opportunities.

    Funding supports faculty growth, training, and innovative teaching to enhance student learning outcomes.

  • Capital Projects

    Funding for campus facilities and infrastructure improvements enhances learning environments, supports high-quality programs, and helps attract and retain strong faculty.

  • Program Support

    Funding helps sustain and expand programs that enhance student success.
