Ways to Give

You can recommend a gift to SSCF through your DAF. Appropriate forms to complete these donations can usually be accessed through your online portal or through your fund advisor. Important Information to include when recommending a gift through your DAF:

SSCF is proud to partner with many generous individuals and corporations who have established endowments with the Foundation. The minimum donation needed to create an Endowment is $50,000, though contributions can begin with $25,000 with the remainder contributed over a period of five years. The Foundation invests this money with the advice of our professional investment advisor; and once the income from the Endowment reaches at least $2,000, monies are then awarded according to donor intent. Please contact us if you would like to discuss establishing an endowment.

With a qualified charitable distribution (QCD), individuals may make direct charitable distributions from their traditional, rollover, or Roth IRAs without including such distributions in their gross income, if they meet the following requirements:

• A donor must be at least 70 1/2 years of age at the time of the transfer

• The funds must pass directly from the donor’s IRA custodian to SSCF
