Grants
The South Seattle College Foundation supports growth, innovation, and opportunity through two grant programs: Faculty Grants and College Project Grants.
Both faculty grants and college project grants enable faculty, staff, and campus leaders to pursue initiatives that strengthen teaching, enhance the student experience, and enrich the campus community.

Faculty Grants
Recognizing the central role faculty play in student success, the Foundation has made professional development and innovative teaching a top priority. In 1998, the Foundation, with matching funds from the State, established an endowment to support faculty-led projects that enhance teaching and learning. Grants are available to both adjunct and full-time faculty and may be used for individual or group projects that promote student retention, assessment, completion, and transfer to four-year colleges. Projects with a focus on anti-racism and social justice are encouraged.

College Project Grants
The Foundation invests in campus-wide initiatives through College Project Grants that enhance the learning environment and improve student life—providing funding for campus projects that might not otherwise be possible through institutional resources. Applications are open to campus staff and leaders for projects that demonstrate a positive impact on students and the campus community, with clearly defined goals and outcomes. Most projects are completed within one year.
